An Article on the Lean Belly Prescription

We all are aware that acquiring a lot of belly fat can be a problem. Not only is it to blame for the “muffin tops” all of us hate so much, it puts real pressure on our bodies while adding to issues like heart disease, diabetes and more. There is a brand-new book, however, titled The Lean Belly Prescription that, according to the marketing, will help you lose your muffin top while simultaneously improving your health. This book has lots of reviews already and we wanted to know if it was better than anything else that people are already buying so we decided to investigate it.

You can buy the book at a “regular” book selling site like Barnes and Noble, Borders and also on Amazon.com. This is a good sign because it adds legitimacy to the project. It additionally makes it more worth purchasing when you won’t have to worry about lots of affiliates presenting overly inflated reviews to make sure that they earn lots of commissions even if the book isn’t helpful. The book is also written by Travis Stork. You probably recognize him as one of the medical doctors from the syndicated show “The Doctors” and as a reality contestant on “The Bachelor.” He is definitely more, however, than simply a TV character. He is a true medical doctor who works in an emergency room at a reputable hospital.

The book was created in an effort to advertise his Pick 3 to Lean plan. The Pick 3 to Lean program helps you customize your diet and lifestyle habits but will not require you to spend hours and hours working out a gym. This program pledges that you will be in a position to lose weight and never have to abstain from any of the things you like the most (food, free time, etc). The program is centered on the N.E.A.T (or Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) theory. This is the idea of being able to burn calories and not having to work out.

From what we can see, the book makes lots and lots of guarantees but does not offer any new or important information. Simply put, this book doesn’t seem to provide you with anything that you will not get by doing a couple of Google searches and using your common sense. This is going to be a major dissatisfaction for the people who like to learn the reasoning behind the instructions that they are given and expected to adhere to. The guide will not go into theory very much at all. The readers are simply given some outlines and strategies and told to follow along. If you’re an individual who would like to have a clear cut plan to follow but who doesn’t want to have to worry about the particulars of the plan, this might be the book you are looking for.

Traditional sense tells us that the only strategy to really shed pounds is to eat right and exercise. This book isn’t going to use that standard logic so there isn’t any real way to tell whether or not it will work the way the marketing promises it will. However, in this time, with a doctor’s blessing (your own medical doctor, not the author of the book), anything is worth at least a cursory glance!
